Young Horse Qualifiers before closing date for Sydney CDI

Competitors aiming to qualify for the Young Horse Championships held at the Sydney CDI and for Dressage Jumping with the Stars, qualifiers scheduled are below.

Any Clubs running Young Horse competitions at their events please let us know.  Not all clubs provide this information for the calendar so riders should check with their regular club/s to enquire if young horse competitions are coming up.

To compete in the  the NSW Young Horse Championhips at the Sydney CDI, the following applies: 

All entries must be qualified by having achieved:

• A score of at least 6.5 in a Young Horse/pony qualifier competition. EA test results are not eligible.
• At least one qualifying score to be obtained by the nominated horse/rider combination.
• If oversubscribed, horses with more than one YH result may have preference over horses with only one YH result.  We suggest riders aim to have at least 2 YH results before close of entries.

Closing dates: 

• DJWTS:  Entries close:  16 February 2017
• Sydney CDI:  15 March 2017

• 12 November:  Hawkesbury Dressage Club
• 25/26 November:  DNSW, Clarendon
• 21/22 January: DNSW, Clarendon 
• 29 January:  Manning Valley, Taree  (cancelled)
• 5 February: Sydney Dressage Club, SIEC
• 4 February:  Young Dressage Assoc Bendick Murrell
• 11/12 February: DNSW, Clarendon
• 3-5 March: ACT Dressage Assoc. Canberra
• 11-13 March: DNSW, Clarendon
• 19 March:  Manning Valley, Taree (results will be considered as performance for the Sydney CDI)
